Sales Associate-Four Hands Home, Austin, TX

Four Hands Home is seeking a motivated, high energy, fun, professional Sales Associate!

The Four Hands Home team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience to local designers, builders, hotels, and various commercial businesses.

Requirements:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and target profitability 
  • Develop expert knowledge of all products, pricing, systems and procedures 
  • Execute all assignments as requested
  • Develop personal customer relationships through execution of long-term development strategies, including maintaining customer accounts, making regular contact and functioning as design consultant when needed
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner, with courtesy, respect and good faith
  • Assist with development and management of outside designer program
  • Contribute to outstanding working environment with a positive attitude, professionalism and willingness to assist others
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all outside vendors
  • Maintain merchandising to present most favorable store appearance at all time
  • Execute daily reconciliation of shipments, deliveries and customer payments
  • Participate in weekly store meetings to receive information and training 


Skills/Talents Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years retail sales/customer service –furniture experience preferred
  • Exceptional sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work well in team concept
  • Optimistic, outgoing, energetic personality
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Maximize customer operational performance by providing resources and technical advice, and improves customer service quality by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes
  • Coordinate customer needs by communicating with all departments within the company to achieve results
  • Coordinate new product implementation; presentations, training materials, product information.
  • Maintain and nurture strategic partnerships

Bachelors Degree Preferred-High School Diploma Required
