Director of Marketing, Austin, TX

The Director of Marketing position is a high-visibility position, reporting directly to the CEO, overseeing all marketing activities for a growing customer base across the United States and Canada. Customer service and customer experience are top priorities as well as introduction of products in the most effective and profitable manner possible.

These are just a few key areas you’ll be focusing on:

Oversee a talented staff of professionals that provides a full range of marketing services including advertising, newsletters, direct mail, web and graphic design, multimedia development, PR, trade-shows, sponsorships, sales seminars, and various other types of events.

  • Strategic planning for marketing, branding, and Four Hands activities to maximize our sales and customer loyalty. Identify and recommend process and tool improvements, and new technologies in marketing to increase awareness and drive traffic and leads for Four Hands 
  • Expertise in measuring and analyzing sales and marketing effectiveness and to formulate the company’s marketing strategy to reach future customers through the application of market analysis and customer tracking studies 
  • Own the development, creation/writing and editing; execute website editorial strategy, content production, copy writing, and all other publishing efforts; Media planning and buying for wholesale and retail 
  • Manage existing campaigns and suggest new campaigns to drive improved paid and organic search marketing efforts including creation and management of assets and updates to corporate website

Education/Experience: Master’s Degree, Marketing or related field preferred. Minimum 7 years experience with at least 3 of these years working directly with C-level management.

Requirements

Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and target profitability 
Develop expert knowledge of all products, pricing, systems and procedures
Execute all assignments as requested to best of your ability
Develop personal customer relationships through execution of long-term development
strategies, including maintaining customer file, making regular contact and functioning  
as  design consultant when needed
Resolve customer issues in a timely manner, with courtesy, respect and good faith
Assist with development and management of outside designer program
Contribute to outstanding working environment with a positive attitude, professionalism
and willingness to assist others
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all outside vendors
Maintain merchandising to present most favorable store appearance at all time
Execute regular reconciliation of shipments, deliveries and customer payments
Participate in weekly store meetings to receive information and training

Skills/Talents Required:


Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma required
Minimum 3 to 5 years retail sales/customer service –furniture experience preferred
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communications

Sales Support Specialist-Wholesale, Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Supports customer and sales team with maintenance/customer service/sales support and administration of accounts assigned, including monitoring open orders
  • Expected to have a fundamental understanding of all customers for the accounts assigned
  • Send out samples/swatches & catalogues as requested
  • Establishing and acquiring payment for each order processed prior to shipment as needed

Skills / Talents / Education Required:

  • Must have a true passion for exceptional customer service skills internally and externally
  • Thrive working in a team environment
  • Must have a solid working knowledge in Microsoft Office with a strong focus in Outlook (i.e. calendar, scheduling emails etc.)
  • Excel is a must
